I created this jumpsuit out of canvas and recycled fabric as my final piece for the University of Minnesota BFA program. I graduated in May 2020, shortly after schools went online and stay at home orders were put in place in response to COVID 19.

My art is about me and my life. It can be selfish. It can be selfless. I’m constantly thinking of what I want to say. And the reality is, I don’t know. I want to say everything and nothing. I can’t speak for anyone but myself. My art is about my mental illness, ADHD, depression, suicidal ideation. It’s about my insecurities and my weaknesses. But it’s also about my strengths. About being powerful and not giving a fuck. Take what you want. With a grain of salt. I’m trying my best, but I’m still learning. Still changing. Always growing.
